Exotic Armor that needs to be buffed

With today's patch notes we can confirm that many under-powered exotic weapons will be buffed. This is a very good change, since these weapons can now be viable in both PvE and PvP. However, as of now there have been major changes to exotic armor. There have been slight changes to armor perks, like the dangerous, but short lived ashes to asset exploit. However, there are many pieces of armor that need to be improved in order to be more competitive with other similar exotics. Thankfully, there are no blatantly over-powered exotic pieces of armor, but many have no competition. Right now, there is no reason to use the AS/8 Arachnid over the Achlyophage Symbiote, but with a buff to the former, both could fill different niches and become equally viable. This post should contain recommended buffs to exotic armor in order to make them more viable and competitive. Even better if you can include why the armor is under-powered and needs a buff. For starters, The ATS/8 Arachnid: This helmet is all over the place. The first two perks give bonuses to grenades and the final, exotic perks provides a bonus to the gunslinger super. The armor also gives split discipline and strength, which is pretty underwhelming. This helmet just can't compete with the Symbiote, which also gives Ashes to Asset, but provides the far more powerful 4th golden gun bullet. This can provide an additional kill in PvP, and more damage output in PvE. The Arachnid gives additional zoom on your golden gun.... Which is rarely needed. On most PvP maps this is rarely needed, and this would require using over the horizon, arguably the least powerful option in that tier. The helmet is meant to reward long-range golden gun users, but this is rarely necessary. Potential changes: In order to maintain the theme of the helmet, the exotic perk should also give over the horizon in order to strengthen the helmet's role. In a more radical change, the helmet could be very viable as an improvement for the gunslinger's trance and chain of woe perks. If the helmet increased the time or effectiveness of these perks it could be very effective at rewarding hunters with precision accuracy.
