Xur Problems
Dear Bungie,
Might I ask what the idea is behind Xur being only available during the weekend? Why not 2 or 3 random days during any week?
The reason I ask this: I'm always working on friday, Saturday and sunday (like 90% of the time). And during my work I don't come home in those days...... (Pilot).
At the moment I can visit Xur maybe 3 or 4 times a year.....

2 RepliesThey want to spread activities out during the week to promote constant interaction / immersion with the game but also to space the content out enough to stop people burning out. Thus the weekly lockouts / timed access. The limited time access adds intensity through the fear of missing out and the limited loot pool provides something new to play with to level up . The reason for him being there on a Sunday is a bunch of behavioral science on focused intervals promoting player interaction. These apparently work best with a combination of random and fixed intervals and Xur is one of the fixed intervals. I guess a bunch of focused study groups and testing shows that is the best time for this is Friday - Sunday as it combines with most people having extra free time.

Just ask a friend to buy xurs stuff for u. write down what u want ur friend goes on checks his stock if he has it he'll buy it for u

I don't know, it's like a restricted access event I guess, as much as it sucks, there will always be people who miss it. It's just too bad you got the short end of the stick
