As I'm sure many of you have already heard, but in case you haven't, Nintendo's President, Satoru Iwata suddenly and tragically passed away today at the age of 55. Despite Nintendo having it's ups and downs in recent years, Mr. Iwata was never afraid to have fun during any appearance and was one of the few executives of ANY large company to truly show his love and passion for his craft. The gaming community has lost an important figure today and the world will miss his joyful, loving demeanor.
"On my business card, I am a corporate president. In my mind I am a game developer. But in my heart, I am a gamer."
-Satoru Iwata

Did you know he cut his own paycheck so he wouldn't have to fire employees? He was like a father to the gaming world.
