Having trouble deciding and I would like some input.
I took a very long break from the game and only returned for the past few weeks. I caught up my Warlock and I created a Titan. Now its time for me to get my old Hunter back up to par.
I bought Khepri's Sting and I haven't maxed it out yet, but I got a crest of Alpha Lupi with a pretty decent roll (124 Strength) and now I find myself wondering which I should be using.
I mean from where I am sitting I am looking at two opposites.
Khepri's Sting is very situational in terms of the melee but the invisibility is VERY nice especially since I prefer Gunslinger for the most part. It allows me to get away in a pinch and also allows me to go invisible so I can get others up without gathering too much attention from enemies. I have also been told the extra melee damage is very nice as well.
Crest of Alpha Lupi is great for all situations because it allows me to help my teammates up faster and allow others to get me up faster. Pretty basic in terms of use, but is useful in ALL situations.
The extra thing for me though is my Hunter is the weakest of the 3 classes for me personally. I always have a bit more trouble staying alive on my Hunter than I do my Lock or Titan. Its mostly a combination of the fact that they are already squishy and then the style of play has never quite clicked for me like the other two have. So that being said I can't decide which would be better for me.
Crest will allow me to get up much quicker and get others up much quicker.
Sting will allow me to get away in a pinch and get others up much more quietly but at the normal rate. Also allows me to do a bit extra Melee damage.
Just need some outside opinions here.

Edited by o HULK SMASH o: 7/14/2015 1:10:29 PMSting for golden gun exploit... Ur chest is too low. 127 is nothing must be a really old chest. 180 is max!!! Edit: sb else mentioned that already. Just saw the comment.

Celestial Nighthawk is my vote.

Side note 127 discipline on chest is very low... 180 is max roll on chest amors

Depends. If you're in a team, CoAL is your best bet. Faster revives and more orbs for your teammates means that you're very effective in Normal Raid and Nightfall teams. If you're flying solo, Khepri's Sting gives you invisibility and frees up a perk slot on your Bladedancer, or it can make your Gunslinger super OP.

Khepri's sting. Cant use fast revive in reg crucible aside from elimination and skirmish

Achlyophage Symbiote

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 7/13/2015 12:06:29 AMI have both, but only Khepri's Sting has ever been worth using. I still love it and keep it in my inventory. The only reason I don't use it much is because I have Lucky Raspberry, which I find more useful. That's just my preference.

Unless you're playing trials, why use lupi?

I personally would say khepris sting because it will get u out of a life or death situation with cloak. It can also be active through a revive and protect you that way (I think). Id say when it comes to it though, change for the current situation. If its something like PoE where you die a lot (or team mates die), go alpha lupi.

Khepri's Sting has a very overrated and specific bonus. In PvE it's pretty situational because invisibility expires upon attacking, and the point of invisibility is usually to escape or navigate through a large group of enemies. In PvP it's basically lost all it's value because an invisible person is usually pretty easy to see and backstab is already a thing from the Bladedancer skill tree.
