So, here is my idea for Bungie to upgrade or update the way vault space works or to give us more space in general. We all know that when you bring up your [i]Character[/i] youcan tab left or right to go to your [i]Roster[/i], [i]Inventory[/i], and [i]Settings[/i]. Why can't we have a similar feature in the Vault? Check this out, you go to the [i]Tower[/i] or the [i]Vestian Outpost[/i] and run up to the [i]Vault[/i]. When you access the [i]Vault[/i], you are presented with the first in a series of tabs. The tabs would read as [i]Weapons[/i], [i]Armor[/i], and [i]General[/i]. General could be split into sections such as the way your vault already is with a section for [i]Character Items[/i] (Shaders and Ships/Sparrows), [i]Consumables[/i], and [i]Materials[/i]. You could also combine the [i]Consumables[/i] and [i]Materials[/i] into one section to provide more space for [i]Character Items[/i] if need be. You would be presented with between 84 (the amount of slots you currently have in the vault) and 100 slots to store individual items under each tab. This would easily fix everyone's vault space issue. I don't understand why a tabbed system wasn't there from the start considering they already had one under your [i]Character[/i] menu while in game. They could take this system a step farther if they wanted to with the addition sorting to your vault. Why not allow players to sort how their individual vaults appear. For instance, under [i]Armor[/i] you could sort all you have stored by the class they go to (Hunter, Titan, Warlock). Under [i]Weapons[/i] you could sort either by the class of weapon you have stored (Primary, Secondary, and Heavy) or by the actual type of weapon stored (e.g. Auto Rifle, Pulse Rifle, Shotgun, Machine Gun, etc.). Now, they wouldn't have to make an individual section for each type, just have them sorted in order in your vault space. What do you guys think of this idea? I think it would be a great addition to the way vault space works and how you store things in it. I hope that someone from Bungie sees this. It would be a great idea.
