The answer to no matchmaking
I have two ideas to help with getting good groups together and keeping them together, strengthening the destiny community.
1: is a simple idea, so when you go into roster at the tower you can read random guardian statuses replacing the "(grimoire cards and score details at bungie.net)" (and via the app) we know it's there bungie... Anyway this will help getting a team together in the tower and on your friends list as you can see what your mate wants to do and not just ah he's doing a story mission. Simply type looking for poe team or vog hard mode etc as your current status and bam team ready off you go.
2: the more difficult one to incorporate into the game is...
Invite or join fireteam via app...
Simply comment in recruitment have your name clicked on check there gear out if you want and bam inv/join fireteam...
Eg I click on "insert name here" while in orbit and click the "..." Option on a commenter and then have inv or join fireteam as one of the options.
Also able to turn inv or join fireteam off for your profile who wants all those notifications or people joining you once you've got a team of 3 or 6.
Why not fellow legends help me get noticed.
Bungie knows about all the common complaints/requests so please drop a like, comment, bump or post something similar, let's make this happen people. :)

But there's one major problem, you have to sync the app to the console so it can pick up that connection. The Sony app has the syncing ability but you cannot start chat parties or anything related. I could see some serious difficulties in having such a function running smoothly. I could see it being easier to just put LFG in the game, but I could be wrong.
