Ive been stuck at work all day checking the forums here and there expecting to read about the festivities of Bungie Day. Am I missing something or are the Triumph challenges the only thing? I was excited when I heard of the triumphs but turns out I already completed them all. So what do I get to look forward to when I get home and hop on Destiny...? Not the reward of an emblem because unless I buy TTK I wont receive that until Sept., why do I constantly feel that Bungie is ignoring/punishing their loyal players?
Edit: I can talk for hours about how it seems as if Destiny's plan is to keep the players playing for as long as possible.(if you don't know what I mean by this please don't take it literal) But does anyone else agree this Bungie Day was not a reward but just another way for Bungie to have players grinding/occupied until the next load of content?
Edit 2: Read about what Bungie Day used to mean for their players. Discounts/ free content: DLCs / Dashboard wallpapers / Gamer pictures, etc. http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Bungie_Day

It's not about expecting. I anticipated them giving away something simple like an emblem. Though, it's not quite what they said it was for when you consider it's actually just a completion emblem to me. The only recognition I wanted from them was an update on what they are doing to fix the mounting issues in this game. That says they appreciate customers a thousand times more than any emblem. Which, is one of the many problems in the game. With the ability to re-roll, ascend, and plethora of emblems, shaders, and class items that have come with HoW and previous expansions, space for them all is dire. I have seen a lot of ideas for fixing it without adding more vault space. Did I expect Bungievision to jump all over them? Nope. What I want is an end to the silent negligence. When was the last time we heard much of anything that was not directly TTK centric? The video and nostalgia moments fit. But, it all felt salty with how the game currently is. I guess I am as done talking as I am playing this game now. That last bit of hope has faded.
