Bungie, we need clarification on year one exotics
I have been reading to schools of thought here.
The first is that players are concerned that they won't be able to level up their favorite weapons after the release of TTK. And while that would suck quite a bit, I would still like to believe that exotics will be able to continue to be upgraded. Much like they were after TDB.
Secondly, xbox owners will finally be getting hawkmoon and monte carlo after a year. Are you telling us that these weapons will be obsolete out of the gate for those people playing on xbox?
So when you get a moment, please clear this up for us.

Bungie need to clarify the whole upgrade system, they don't seem to have a long term plan. The upgrade paths change with every dlc, first ascendant shards, then radiant and now nothing. With restricted vault space it's impossible to know whether to keep something older incase it can be ascended later. No - one plays crota anymore so any weapons that need rad mats are hard to upgrade. They want you to replace your weapons and continue to re-grind but the game isn't good enough for constantly playing the same content over and over. Now that I have all the etheric light I need should I get more for future content or am I wasting my time?
