Fair Ways to Nerf Thorn Without Destroying the Gun
Option 1: Make your character hold it sideways like a "gangster".
Option 2: Thorn already has a distinctive firing noise. Make it do Omnigul's shriek when you reload it.
Option 3: If you've played GTAV, you might know about the mechanic where you yell into your mic to intimidate store clerks. Well they could make it so you have to compliment your Thorn every kill or it will start to dislike you.
Option 4: Mandatory pink camo.
Option 5: Have actual thorns on the gun. It wouldn't affect gunplay, but your character would occasionally "Oww!"

Actually, Making the DoT stop when the player who shot you dies would balance pretty well, I always win gun fights against them but that poison, Bruh...

Remove final round so it can't be glitched also either slightly reduce impact or stop the dot when the player dies.

Thorn should Slowly weaken the user after each kill, lowering Recovery and armour gradually, making it a Risk and Reward

Option 3 would be so annoying. "Good job Thorn, you're such a good gun, I love you so much" etc. What would happen if it didn't like you? "Hey Thorn, you want to poison this guy after I shoot him?" "Hmm, I don't think I will. No more 2-shot for you, bitch."
