Your favorite sniper and why you think it's the best
I personally noticed the lack of snipers used in PvP unless they are final round sniper or ice breaker or some other fast shooting sniper
My personal favorite is my trusty LDR with ambush, double down, perfect balance, and firefly and just trailing behind is my efridite spear which does NOT have final round because I have skill unlike
those who do use final round it instead has double down, field scout and firefly

I'm new to PvP sniping, but rite now I scored a Her Benevolence with Hidden Hand, Casket Mag, and Performance Bonus and it's been pretty good

7 RepliesI have a void LDR with find more ammo and a larger magazine. I don't care about the other stats as it is pretty hard hitting at 365 and it gives me double ammo on everything. Very useful in most situations. Icebreaker is a great gun all around and useful in most situations. Especially in a solar burn, but I also like to use a Black hammer/ Gjallahorn combo, so I don't wear it often. If there is an arc burn I love to use patience and time as there is not a great exotic arc heavy and that weapon has a great fire rate and does great damage. So, it's situational I would say for me, but those 4 rifles would be my picks under different circumstances.

I pretty much have a sniper equipped full-time and I have to say after reforging snipers such as Her Benevolence, Low-grade Humility, advanced GEO and a few random others I always find myself back to my old Longbow-Synthesis. It sat in my vault for a while when HoW dropped but now it's my go to. It's easy to handle and has the right amount of impact for ToO type game modes. Although it has final round I'm not the type to purposely utilize this perk as I always aim for the headshot (it is nice to have that insurance in the magazine though) it's on my hunter currently and has; -Ambush scope -Spray and Play -snapshot/armor piercing/perfect stability -final round Plus the fact it's not obtainable anymore makes it all that more special too me, I love a lot of the older weapons and still use many of them :)

My y 06 longbow. It wrecks in trials and one shots a person with a revive shield if you shoot them in the dome.

Snipers like her benevolence or ldr. Mostly because you can kill: a self rez warlock, anyone who just got revived, bladedancers, and maybe thats about it idk.

I only just realised yesterday that my LDR has final round, been in my vault for a few month now. Pulled it out for trials yesterday but I only used it if the other team were final rounding. Felt incredibly dirty

The term you, along with most of the ignorant world, are looking for is "sniper's rifle." Which is any rifle that a long range specialist uses. This means that a sniper's rifle does not necessarily have to be, in the general publics terms, a sniper rifle. It can be an anti material rifle. It can be a designated marksman's rifle. It can be a battle rifle. Any type of rifle.
