Why don't we just say no?

Alright so we all know about the Red Bull promotion and how it locks content from a DLC that we're already paying 40$ for. Why don't we just stop buying the RedBull and entering codes? The "quest" is only blocked for 3 months if you don't buy the Red Bull so why don't we suck it up and wait to turn this around on Bungie and make them and 7-11 flop and realize it was a bad idea to do this in the first place? I can understand giving XP codes in promotions since they only benefit that player but when you lock content behind a putrid drink to make a little profit that's just BS especially to the dedicated players that have paid 60+ on the Vanilla game already.
