Gun usage stats
Back when they nerfed the auto rifles and buffed the pulse rifles, they showed us a table with the most used guns in PvP during that time. Who would like to see something like that again for the guns used now so we know how many people use what guns?

2 RepliesThey opened Pandora's box with that move. The truth was it was a move they wanted to make, and the gun stats just helped shore the case. You'll never see those stats again, because it would show that ARs and PRs swapped places, as did shotguns and fusion rifles. That effectively accomplished nothing toward the stated goal. But even if they do show stats, and even if they act on them, same thing will happen again. People will be complaining about slingshots and pea shooters.

Edited by The 7th fall: 7/3/2015 4:01:01 AMBungie won't show anymore stats because they're likely embarrassed how hand cannons have taken over, and they're crappy auto-rifles aren't being used anymore, not even for patrols in PvE. 1/4th of the primary weapons aren't useful in ANY situation that a hand cannon, pulse rifle or scout rifle can achieve far better at, and that's a really bad thing... and Bungie just keeps cracking jokes about it rather than putting auto rifles back in the competitive field.

2 RepliesWow the thorn was only used by 9% of the community when the first Iron Banner came around this year. I bet that number is probably up around 50% now if you throw in TLW with how many I see dominating The Trials and Iron Banner.

IB evens out the weapons because its a level advantage and it removes the de-buffs on other weapons.

Yep i posted this before as well, bungie should be forced to release these stats bc it would show us how lazy they've really been. LW and Thorn have been dominating and overused for months now, and they've known it for sure. The fact that they still havent fixed them is criminal

I'd really like to see something like this, although I would hope they don't use it to justify nerfs. Maybe they'll put it out and then use it to justify buffing AR's.
