3 times i just tried doing the weekly strike and 3 times people left straight away, seriously if your spamming the weekly hoping to drop in as omnigul has half health or something your a bloody scrub. Just play the damn game! Poe is slowly becoming the same people hanging back doing f##kall. You should be locked out for period of time when you keep leaving events soon as they start.

I especially hate when they're there but choose not to do anything.. If I see this happen I just leave.. I don't get why ppl sit there.. You're obviously in the game just play it
-
I've seen a few do this, but there's also some excellent matchmaking guys out there. The strikes have sections in them and if 1 player doesn't complete a section and move along with the other players - he gets kicked from the game. I can see what these people are doing they'll join a strike and walk off and not even be on the Xbox/PS. They are then carried through earning rewards etc for no effort.
-
I think there are people that do that because they are against matchmaking in any form and want people on here complaining that it does not work for the Weekly...
-
This week is juggler. It makes any strike really easy if you know how to run it properly. I don't skip anything with juggler just because I can make it rain with Ghorn all game. Pickup 1 box of heavy for 4-5 rockets each time. How can you not play it through?
-
Just continue yourself and people will join? What confuses me is the people that quit AT Omnigul. Had a dude that died like 4 times at the boss fight, just left when she was at a sliver of health left. LMAO
-
Yeah, imagine matchmaking on raids....
-
Level 28 POE is almost unplayable because of this.
-
This is why matchmaking shouldn't be on everything. People are lazy.

Destiny. 6/10 ratings for a reason(s)
-
Only fools and noobs play this game anymore. Time to move on to the many better games out there.
-
I agree... It is a little disheartening having people walk in just as you are completing or are not far enough along for them to stick around. My solution: If I can't find anyone to play with or I'm just bent on soloing the nightfall. I close my fire-team. Friends don't let friends ride coat-tails.
-
I did have once where I dropped in at the end of Phogoth (dinklebot said "finally" right when I spawned) and I got a legendary engram. I felt like such trash. I feel your pain, though. I don't give free rides to people.
-
True, I think Bungie will eventually get around to policing this, I hope. I've noticed the same thing the past couple of weekly heroics. I mean for shit's sake, you know what the weekly event is before you go in. After reading your post I now get why people are leaving. Those that do are lazy assholes and deserve to get banned for at least a week, maybe they'll learn, but I seriously think not. Cheers

sounds like a game design problem more than a player problem
-
Imagine matchmaking with 5 more of them in a raid. Smfh. It's not that often they're afk in crucible. I stopped doing strikes. I don't need anything.
-
Sorry that happens to you.I always start from beginning and get shit done.Dropping in at the end is nice but I'll do it from beginning if dropped there
-
Edited by Lrich1986: 7/2/2015 1:33:44 PMIt's probably because it omnigul with juggler. I can't be bothered to touch it this week. But true if people want to do it they just man up and run it or just leave it entirely
-
Thank god I learned to solo The Nightfall and The Weekly before all this. I don't care if people leave or stand still. It pains me seeing that both the NF and Weekly are a joke now. The NF is no longer a challenge to solo unless there is arc burn. They should just make the NF all burn every week. I think it would be awesome if they did weapon restrictions on NF. Make people leave gjallarhorn in the vault.
-
Edited by AngryPanda: 7/2/2015 12:29:56 PMThat is aload of balls..haven't really been doing NF or POE too much...but people should definitely be locked out. I get that people have lives, but if I have to do something, I wouldn't get on my xbox in the first place.
-
Kinda silly to do so too, why would there be a game with a guardian short? Its matchmaking, so unless someone gets kicked by an errorcode, the chance of dropping halfway is rather slim
-
Well fired destiny back up 1st try someone leaves, currently on 2nd try 1 left and other dick is just dying on purpose, ive actually just let him die and sitting down in corner untill he buggers off, this is ridiculous
