You need to sort out lagswitching
Players in this community are lagswitchers they are nothing but cheats and you will lose fans shortly if it's not sorted it's not a fair game at all we put in the time and effort on this game to get rewards and complete certain tasks and we can't even do that please sort it out or ban the people who are doing it.

2 RepliesIt is not lag switching. It is poor Destiny servers. It is killing me inside IB. I recorded some game play and replayed it, and I actually shot someone point blank 4 times with invective while they were looking away reloading and it did nothing. They jumped up and meleed kill me with one hit. I would love to test it, but last time I checked the shotgun should have won. Then later in the video my whole team was teleporting so I check the signal, and both teams were redlining. I have been lagging out a lot now, and seeing contacting Destiny server. I can't even finish POE without getting kicked. Once was a boss fight and I missed the reward. They said they would wipe, but I said no, because 1 gally would finish him. I know others have been cheated and wasted time on this for nothing. They should legally give us all something, because playing Destiny is now gambling with our time and time is or can be money. lol I am trying here.

designated servers. Incorporate a better ranking system like halo 3, that suits you with players you are better off playing with. You know how annoying it is to call myself a day-1-fan and still get paired up with all foreigners whos level isnt even fair to match up against a 34? in the past week alone, it seems every other game is unplayable bc the connection is THAT bad. mind you, im running 50 mb/s so im assuming this is not my internets problem, i also have green bar everygame

2 RepliesThis is a pointless, mindless game.. most of the players left in the game are either noobs or cheaters. And of course the cheaters don't want it to be fixed, then they wouldn't be able to play at all (which is the reason for all the annoying trolls who like to bash those who say anything). bungie is not going to fix the game...they don't want to spend the billion dollars we gave them on better servers or anti cheat software, its all going to destiny 2 and prostitutes do what I did with millions of others and just stop playing.. its not a real pvp game.. hell its rated t for teen. this game is already dead... its why they are trying to get new players in by giving away all the content we spent 100 dollars on for free.

4 RepliesI'm seeing the lag switching increasing more and more. This is what happens with the game that is not moderated. Cheating becomes so widespread that the community comes to understand that is actually happening and moves past denial. Look at the overuse of Thorn... Players will utilize any advantage that they can and when they're placed at a disadvantage, they will find a way to even the playing field. At this point why not? I've seen little effort on Bungie's part to stop this from happening. When the metrics came in, showing shockingly low numbers on crucible play, they had absolutely no idea why it was that everyone hated it, or didn't have the resources to fix the problem. Instead of fixing the issues that plague the crucible that make it an almost completely terrible experience, they take all of the weapons and armor that would normally be obtained from an enjoyable cooperative event, and put them behind an elimination tournament. While everyone else bitches about standard pricing. I'm wondering why there is an no outcry about: 1. the high number of one hit kill options in crucible 2. Inconsistent or Laggy connections 3. Overly aggressive lag compensation that favors high ping players. 4. Purposely unbalanced weapons and class Supers. 5. Rampant cheating. 6. No Skill or party based matchmaking that attempts to put together players who have similar skill. 7. Larger maps such as first light were removed from crucible but actually allowed for different weapons such as scout rifles.

It's just bad connections. Not lagswitching. .well 90% of the time. There isn't enough reward for people to go through the hassle. Plus bungie can easily detect that.

2 RepliesIn Bungies defense, there will be so much of it, that it will be hard to keep up with all the ways to stop them and keep up with reports. Bungie does need a better way of customer service though. This no feedback is what gets me. So far they can shove this new expansion where the sun doesn't shine. Making are the hardcore vet fans pay even more. I thought that was what the DLC expansion pass that gets you all the DLC was for. Would that be false advertising?

I've seen a ton of lagged out players. I'm not sure all of them are lag switching but I have seen a good bit. Like the guys that can't be hurt while you're shooting them point blank with a shotty but then suddenly when you reload your gun they return fire.

Bungie can't make code to stabilize what is truly an irreparable server infrastructure. But they can act fast to temp-ban laggers and perma-ban cheaters. If I ran things at bungie, 10 bad-connection reports would land you 3-days out of crucible, systemically. No human needed to check. 10 cheating reports would give you 3-days out and trigger and exam by a human of your previous game performance.
