This guy is trying to argue all over the place, first that the thorn is too good then that the thorn is too good because other guns are just as good as it? what? also the thorn is a LOW SKILL CAP gun. its easy to use and makes bad players look good.

I just commented on that video but I'll reiterate here: I agree that auto rifles need a little buff, but unless you expect everyone's weapons to do the same amount of damage/TTK there will always be a weapon that is king. Players are always going to find the fastest time to kill weapon and use it. People complain, another nerf happens, rinse and repeat. Also when you are condescending towards the developers like a lot of people are you are never going to get what you want. In addition to my post on his video I'd like to say as a former developer of AAA titles I can assure you that spite sometimes plays a role in a designers mind. If you are telling them they are stupid and don't know what they are doing you aren't going to receive much attention. I think the solution to this is to have them gradually tune the auto rifles up. Maybe over the course of a month or two. I don't think they need to be buffed back to where they were previously but if they were to say, tune them back up to 50% of what they nerfed off of them it would be a good starting point. Then let it play out for a couple of weeks and adjust as necessary. I think from bungie's standpoint they don't want to keep fooling with the ecosystem because it is fragile and the backlash is terrible and I completely understand that.
