The Bungie 'philosophy' they didn't want to discuss.

Luke Smith didn't want to discuss their philosophy during the interview. Luckily I have a copy. 1. Make lofty promises of future glory that will outshine your previous success. Convince players to pay you up front. 2. Spend 500 million on world famous artists and development but 'forget' to put most of the actual game content in. 3 Promise to deliver more content if customers give you more money. Make sure they pay upfront. 4. After getting $$$, unlock some stuff that you 'forgot' to ship but was actually just 'misplaced' on the disc. Also run players backwards through maps. It will take them a while to realize they have been there before. 5. Players see new material and realize it still didn't answer any of the questions they had about the missing story or provide the vast areas originally promised. Repeat step 3 and 4 one time then proceed to step 6. Note: At this point players may become wise to your tricks. This step calls for more drastic measures. 6. While players are realizing that your new installment again contains very little new material, use this disappointment to your advantage. Tell them that this time you're serious!!! New places to go! New enemies to fight! 7. Double the expansion price. Take money upfront. 8. Provide quirky collectables and useful in game items in a collectors edition that forces people to re-buy the broken promises of the past. Double the doubled price. Only make a few of these. 9. Inform players in the most condescending way possible if they wanted to golf clap they should have hurried up and threw money at their screens. Let them know they still clap but as punishment for questioning the all powerful Bungie will get absolutely nothing tangible to go with your in game content. Take money upfront. 10. Deliver lack luster content that still contains no answers and just re-skins old enemies. Unlock 3rd subclass that existed since the beginning. 11. Repeat steps 3-10 replacing large expansion with a 'whole new game'. Warning! Do not forget to take money upfront! Suckers... Er... I mean players will be unlikely to buy the content once reviews are out. /edit. Obligatory disclaimer. This post is sarcasm (only slightly sarcastic though).
