Locked Out After Taken King Preorder
For those guardians with both the digit guardian edition and are pre-ordering the latest DLC (the $40 digital download), be aware that you may be locked out of Destiny immediately after preorder.
Many guardians are now seeing a 90-day clock for Destiny instead of being able to play their already downloaded content after successfully completing their preorder.
Sony appears to be aware but notes only Bungie can address it.

UPDATE: this occurrence is noted in some forums online that even guardians who haven't pre-ordered are also seeing the 90-day ticker when trying to access Destiny.
FOLLOW-UP: Restoring licenses resolved the issue for me; I have seen, however, this suggested fix is not resolving it successfully for others.

That's OK, Pre-order isn't even available for the 360 ....yet? There is no store option it just says coming soon, however there are store options for each of the other systems.

37 RepliesWhy are you guys preordering so early, before knowing what exactly comes with the dlc? You should wait for more details before throwing money at them. The only reason to preorder ,which I personally think is stupid, is for the physical edition. That has a limited supply. The digital download isn't going anywhere.

11 RepliesWow wish kids would stop pre ordering stuff. Game companies well see they made there money back just from pre orders an once they do they won't give a shit about the game after launch. If a game did not make its money back during launch they'll keep working on it until they do make the money back. So cannot blaim game companies for not taking games serious now days when the customers are helping them not give a shit.

Whenever you preorder anything all you ever get is a dick in the mouth from the developer. I personally won't preorder any game no matter how excited I am about it after this console generation's constant barrage of half finished, broken games.

I noticed the clock yesterday, but I can still launch it if I return to the default view. Unless both the default and "profile" view appear as locked?

19 RepliesI had this issue and I was able to fix it. Go in the Settings > PlayStationNetwork/Account Management. Select Restore Licences and Restore. Restart your console and it should be fixed.
