I've never played any of the batman games but a bunch of you here at #gaming are pretty boned up about the one coming out later this month.
So, what's the deal with it? Is it an open world rpg or is it linear? Basically tell me what to be excited for if anything at all.

Open world, stealth/combat. Combat is a lot like shadow of Mordor or like a much better assassins creed. stealth is like a faster paced assassins creed or splinter cell. Plus, Your Batman. really good.

It's probably my favorite game series of all time. Batman villains are always great and the gameplay is incredibly fun. The story is amazing plus the open world includes so much depth

You have to play Arkham Asylum and City, you can ignore Origins.

Open world. Not really an RPG though. The previous games are fantastic, and I would highly recommend picking them up.

Play Arkham Asylum and Arkham City because one its cheaper used like $8 for both on either 360 or ps3 and two, you'll be caught up.

Sucks and you will hate it
