So an idea I had was what if use the directional pad instead of dancing and waving we can set things to them like heavy ammo synths, special ammo synths, glimmer boosters, ect. Limit dancing and waving and all in public patrols and in social spaces but for things like raid, PoE, and strikes let us use them as hotkeys Edit... Ok so rather than limiting social gestures like dancing there could be a toggle in the settings if you want to use the d-pad for social gestures or as Hotkeys to your consumables. Edit 2... Another good idea that has been brought up is use L2 or the black trigger (based on your controls) as a scroll wheel that we can select certain items that we hot key to that wheel and use an analog stick to scroll through the wheel.
