Reforge Stats
So I just got Matador 64 dropped from Crucible. Yeay! The stats on it were ok. So like any one else I went to the gun Smith to reforge it and get shot package and all that good stuff. But after I did it seemed like the stats changed from the original stats. Range wasn't as good as the in original Matador I got. Is this correct? Does reforging a weapon change the stats on it?

All the base stats should be the same outside of the first three perks to alter them.
