Losing team in Trials still gets loot
I really wish the losers in trials didn't get loot for losing.. my team got nothing while 2 of the opposing members got items. We beat them 5-1 to win the match.
Anyone else think this should at least be the ONE game mode that you only receive loot for winning in this game mode? I thought that's what they implied when they released ToO.
If you were going to not play trials because you were afraid to lose, don't worry because you'll still have a chance apparently!!
EDIT - JUST wanted to say I went thru the Trials unbroken and ended up getting access to the Lighthouse and got mad crazt rewards and an etheric light!
EDIT - just to clarify, I am not envious of the rewards in any way. I was under the impression that this was a die hard competitive game mode, and providing consolation prizes it encourages players to join just for the free loot. Everyone loves free purples.
--even though I think the Watcher's gear has better perks than the Osiris gear, at least for the chest! (Def not the gloves. Heavy ammo reload)

If you don't 'win' at the Raids you don't get the loot from them, if that counts for anything. But I see your point, it's just another example of the broken RNG system Destiny has...

My team only managed to get 7 wins in a row then one bad connection threw us off our game and we couldn't recover but in all those games I didn't see any drops

1 ReplyThe trials of the exile gear is pretty epic. For PvP it's probably better than iron banner gear given the gauntlets have both special weapon reload and a primary reload (can also get heavy reload too).

Then the govt takes my taxes to fund the unemployment checks & Obamacare for indolent schmucks that went to liberal arts colleges on student loans to get worthless degrees, pay little/no taxes, and crush Destiny PVP matches all day.

1 ReplyI lose all the time and I dont get shit Im already level 32 so the Watcher gear is useless to me and my gear has more useful perks for my build. Not everyone is a tryhard so the least the game could do is give them new gear and even then it only gets them to level 32

As someone who went flawless three times, you want there to be a reason for scrubs to play trials. As soon as they feel it is hopeless going flawless will get way harder.

I might go back into Trials just to lose matches and get rewarded. Seriously, in my flawless runs, every match, the enemy always got something while we got nothing until the end.

Seriously, I picked up the boots with extra special ammo and immediately trashed them because besides looking cool they are worthless. If I have to waste e.light on a pair of boots it will be either of the raid boots with extra heavy...
