I think Bungie got the wrong idea about "simplifying" progression. They made it simple, yes, but they had to also make it a drawn out process by making it an unlikely reward. So once you get marks and hit 32 if you haven't already, you're basically wasting your time to do anything other than the few endgame activities once a week. Where's the ongoing process that RPG lovers are familiar with? This just feels stupid and futile most of times, and the new challenges in poe limit the variety of options and already there's just one way to play just like Crota. Were forced into bladedancer and titan defender roles and it's stupid. We hit level 33 to do level 34 and then 34 to do 35 and it's a weekly thing? What are we some stupid Boy Scout chapter that meets once a week? This isn't what home entertainment is about!

Etheric Light given as a reward for running story missions and strikes at level 35 would be great also.
