Are Bungie making Destiny into somewhat of a huge MMO?
As of yesterday the House of Wolves expansion was released and was of course the second expansion to the game, similarly to the Return of Crota they just recycled the current areas whilst also introducing a few new places which cannot be accessed on patrols.
However at some stage they must surely have to create new areas to continue expanding the game. Whether it be through areas, races, game types etc more must be made in order for them to continue expanding and so it does seem as if this will happen.
This are just a few ideas I've had and I do expect then game to continue growing as in the newest expansion we do see items that are from "Year 1", so surely there must be a year 2 and so fourth...
If you agree or have any of your own ideas do reply, where theres demand, game developers do respond.

Bungie have always said that destiny is NOT an MMO, they call it an 'immersive world shooter' or something like that. But yes, destiny has a 10 year plan and an "evolving galaxy" idea that hints at time progression in the game world equal to the expansions, so think of them as chapters in a book, your currently in the intro and although we have raids and survival, there's been no mention of sticking with one end game mode. All of this basically means that destiny is a sandbox, bungie is toying with ideas and map expansions and working directly on feedback, if we want it enough they will try to accommodate over the coming expansions Hope this helps a little
