Don't get me wrong I love Destiny, I can admit that it has a lot of crap things about it and also a lot of awesome things, but one thin I still don't get is after almost a full year of it being out why is there still no trading?!Serously like it's complete BS when I get like a ton of useless shards after a nightfall and someone gets their 5th gjally but and he really needs shards to upgrade his armor but I can't trade with him? Like WTF? I don't see any game breaking downsides, I know I'm not the only one who thinks this! Please bump...
[Edit:1] I'm not saying it has to be anything but gear I some extent like different class gear maybe not raid gear or weapons, but at least some gear, exotics, and materials.
[Edit:2] At least exotics and materials. Also I'm not saying a trading mechanic should be exactly like I'm saying it would be a good Idea if they added it in but it's up to them to balance it out, not you.

⚠Stop being a noob⚠ Half the game is finding new gear. That is the only reason people do the endgame content of Nightfall, Weekly, Raid, and even Iron Banner. ⭐If you could trade you would get items so quick and have nothing left to do. 🚩On top of that a black market will open up and sell in-game items for real money. That is illegal. Trading brings more bad than good to Destiny. So put a sock in it

NO TRADING!!!!
-
I would love to trade rare and legendary weapons to find the perfect perk rolls. I don't really care about the exotics.
-
This sounds like an undercover gjallarhorn post
-
Never trading. And it's a good thing.
-
Not enough gear or weapons for trading to even be considered. Grind it will drop
-
They said on Twitch its something theyve been considering from the start but still not yet

Edited by Hoops: 5/13/2015 6:47:07 AM8 months is not a nearly a full year
-
I think it be here for commit, there might be enough content by then to actually trade(doubt it though)
-
They could do 3 things A.Only trade weapons B.Have to trade with someone your level C.You have to offer something equivalent Example:Exotic for Exotic/Glimer/Motes of light/Etrange coins/Exotic shards Most likely gonna do none
-
Every no trading post ever is a a person crying because they dont have gjallarhorn
-
Edited by Theodox: 5/13/2015 4:29:29 AMLook at games like Diablo 3, it's loot based but is dragged down by an auction house that screws with progression. How would you like it if some guy shot from level 20 to 32 in a day by scamming while you had to work for your level?
-
Anyone else think trading will be like heists for gta a massive wait
-
No trading
-
If they made it so you could only trade past level 30, that would be awesome.

[Edit:1] I'm not saying it has to be anything but gear I some extent like different class gear maybe not raid gear or weapons, but at least some gear, exotics, and materials.
Trading will never happen. The game is RNG based for a reason. It keeps you playing and praying to get the gear you're after. If you could simply trade for it, the majority of players would have everything they wanted and would stop playing. There is simply not enough content in this game to allow for trading. Also trading would ruin the replay value. Bungie doesn't want that so no trading. Keep grinding it out and eventually you'll get what you want.
-
Do you even play the game or are you just waiting for trading? Literally you have only exotics that xûr sold, and some cards you have you got by a code (red death, gjallarhorn.) So you play the weekly strikes, no nightfalls, raids barely... If you actually did things in thesis game you would have more things... When your looking for the 1 last exotic that you just can't seem to get... Then talk about trading but to me you look like the type that puts a game shark in and unlocks evening just to mess around, nothing more... Shame
-
Nobody would need xur except for ammo synths and strange coins would have almost no worth then. Thus no trading.
-
I think trading would only work if you were required to trade the other person something of equal value...like an exotic for an exotic. But in my opinion I wouldn't want trading because of someone asked me "so, how'd you get your gjallahorn?" And I say "oh, my friend gave it to me" thatd really take the value out of it :/

You like awesome happy Gjallarhorn? Have for sale to you! Offer best price number 1! You: what the fück!?!?!? There is a wait time to play destiny? All servers are full? OF FARMERS!?!?!?
-
There will be none for this game
-
Trading is for scrubs. seriously no gamebreaking downsides? How about a guy who has never raided before as a 32 right away? cruicable marks and vanguard marks will be useless because you can you can just trade some scrub for the wepon or gear you want. Bounties? whats the since of lever factions or anyshit because you dont need the drops.. no you will just trade for them. Riad? naa -blam!- that Ill just trade for word of crota and the helment. Iron banner? Shove it up yo ass ill just trade for the gear. Then you will have your miners like WoW who will create bots to earn items so the can sell for real money. Then you will have the scammers trading their sweet No land beyond sniper that is gold to some poor fellow who just earned their shitty black hammer. So no down sides? think agian. The only upside is you not wanting to grind and being a lazy spoiled chump wanting every thing for nothing.

Hey tower, just got my tenth gjallarhorn. Who wants a gjallarhorn. Gjallarhorns for everyone. GAME OFFICIALLY BROKEN
-
Yeah no. It was in the beta, and removed in the launched game. It's not making a reappearance
-
Keep trading out of destiny
-
Trading would make exotics too common
