Where are the Destiny books/comics?

With 500,000,000 billion double dollars over 10 years why are there no books/comic books Coming? Since the story is so sparse in game there should be. It would expand the fan base and offer a solution to the main complaint about the Destiny universe. It would be a good way to expand the universe as well. For those who like to read of course. Just an opinion. And if they have announced books than ignore and point me to the source, please.

  • In my option is Bungie really doesnt care about the lore of destiny, the was they fired Joseph steaten, his story of Destiny was the most immersive and the smart people story but bungie said to complex to much money can not compute. So their isnt any reason for them to make any comics because they can barley make a game.

I'd love to see some Destiny comics! Literally just popped this in my Chrome browser. I found a sweet quote at http://gamerant.com/: " Rather than have fans simply absorb the title’s history through text, supplementary artwork might allow for a more engaging experience." http://gamerant.com/destiny-comic-cayde-6/ We're hearing things like Destiny 2 in 2017 and fan comics? I can't wait until level 40 strikes in Destiny I !!

  • No books, but I suggest surfing the fanfiction or lore forums. You can find some pretty good stories there.

  • I would probably buy a book or a comic of this series. Or atleast pirate an ebook. What I would REALLY love to see, though, is more games of different genres to expand the Destiny universe. Like, an open world Elder Scrolls/Fallout 3 esque-game, or like a top down tactical rpg. A side scrolling platformer shooter! Pipe dreams, but I think this would -blam!-ing rule.

  • The game hasn't even been out a year. The property is still fresh. Give it time and hope that Activision recognizes they can make more money by expanding into different mediums.

    • To be frank I'd rather see the story expanded IN GAME. Blizzard already does this way too much for stories I could have played rather than read. Destiny also doesn't have the issue of having only a few central characters that anyone cares about. We have a world based in legends of humanity and guardians of old. We can actually meet and help these people in game with little to no story consequences.
