Hunter Supers in PvE
Does anyone think Golden Gun needs a PvE (and just a PvE) buff? Specifically the damage.
Nova Bomb and Fist of Havoc can take out not only a whole row of enemies, but even Majors.
Golden Gun on the other hand, can use all three and [i]almost[/i] kill a major.
This is based off of my experience alone.
Comments and criticism welcome, but please keep it friendly.
Edit: And how could I forget Arc Blade?!
The one that's as deadly to the user in PvE as it is to enemies in PvP!
That one definitely needs damage boost and a shield boost to the user as Hunter is the only one that doesn't have a damage resistance while using their super.

I think nova bomb needs a buff personally. I'll throw it at majors and the whole group with have a quarter health left. Golden gun I think is fine

A buff might have me using gunslinger more. I tend to save my super on missions like nf in case someone needs a revive in a tricky spot and/or both are dead. Rarely use them offensively or I'll die immediately.

Agree completely. Hunters ate definitely lackluster in pve

1 ReplyYeah, they do. I was messing around on the level 30 heroic this week and decided to arc blade some goblins. Goblins. Regular goblins. They took two hits to die each. TWO HITS FROM A SUPER TO KILL CANNON FODDER. [spoiler]Apologies for yelling[/spoiler]

Hunters suffer a bit more in pve, I think all classes and their supers need a buff in pve. Take a nova bomb to a level 30 major and I'm not even sure it'll go down. Titans bubble is one of the most useful IMO and it's not really even a killer lol.

Yup. Honestly all dmg supers need a buff though. Even Nova bomb feels like it should do more to majors. Golden gun is definitely the worst offender though

Tried Level 24 strike. My super was ready. The boss had a huge shield in front of him. He turned around. The back of his head was exposed to me. Shot my three shots. Each did 624. My sniper did 1050!

I don't even really play on my hunter and I know it needs a PvE buff
