Dear Bungie, It has come to my attention that there are rouphly four shaders available per tower faction in Destiny. This in itself is an excellent idea as it not only brings more color and diversity to the armor customization, but it also allows players to show off their loyalty with pride. This is one major problem, however. The only method to obtain these shaders is through a faction reward package. While this in itself is not bad, the fact that getting a shader from this package is very slim is a very annoying concept. This would mean that a player would have to either grind for dozens of hours for reputation, or be extremely lucky, just to get ONE shader. I am uncertain about my fellow players, but I am certainly not going out of my way to burn through that much monotonous work just to make my armor look nice. So here is my proposition: make armor shaders purchasable from the faction vendor. Whether it is through glimmer or marks is your choice, though glimmer would be more logical. The only real restriction should be faction rank. Requiring a player to be rank 3 or 4 in the faction in order to purchase any shaders would keep the shaders' representational value.
