Sign to ask for Matchmaking for Nightfall
Does anyone else find having to use the recruitment forums or LFG sites just a pain in the A$$ ? I would prefer to play with people I know but the reality is we don't always play at the same time. Once people complete the Nightfall once with all 3 of their characters they don't really want to do it again. Matchmaking has made completing the weekly missions more convenient so expanding it to nightfall just makes If you don't want to use the matchmaking option you wouldn't have to. I would just like to be provided the option.
Edit - some of you are missing the point of this being optional. Their would be no harm in the people who want it, could use it. Anyone who doesn't ... Can simply not use it. Most changes made to this game make some people happy but others upset. This is a you can have your cake or eat it too scenario. It helps some people and doesn't impact the ones who don't want it.

No. They got rid of soloing for the weekly and didn't make it optional. If they do it for nightfall I have even less of a reason to play this game.

Optional Match Making where it's on or off and can be changed easily to on or off would be a yes. If it is only just match making and doesn't allow you to solo or duo or whatever you would like to do then no.

Be good but there gonna be people trolling seen plenty of people waiting for ther team mates to die the shooting rocket into the floor for wipe. If they do add it hope they make it optional prefer to solo the nightfall

4 RepliesAll the crying for matchmaking then Bungie adding it to the weekly has partially ruined some of what I liked in the game. I have friends that I play with, but when Bungie added the matchmaking to weekly, I'm lucky to play with them during this event. The three of us start out together, the shitty servers drop someone, then they are replaced by a random. Only choice is to restart or play out with random and leave friend out. Some of us don't want matchmaking. Some of us even like to solo events. It adds a challenge to the game. Enjoy the game for what it is or move on to something else.

I would rather it be removed from the heroic. The only possible way is if it could be turned on and off like fireteam or in game chat

Matchmaking for Regular Heroic Weekly is bad enough. Most of the time I get one AFKer who never shows up or someone who has left to get a drink and shows up minutes in to the game. So no thank you.

Matchmaking should be optional for Daily, Weekly, Nightfall & Raid. This allows people wanting to play solo the option of it while those who need/prefer a team can get it too. It also helps those people who can't find friends willing (or on) to help them through the raid.
