This has to be the most noob thing ive ever heard!!!
Joined at an atheon cp with my friend today using LFG. LFG is russian roulette you're either getting the best team you could hope for or the worst people you've ever encountered. Now I must set the scene, the "owner" of the group posted on LFG "lvl 32's only!" When we joined the group a lvl 31 tried to join as well and the guy was having a fit about how he would not have a 31 in the group it was 32's only. After several other members finally explained how the lvl difference didnt matter he finally conceeded. So we load in, first run is a wipe rather fast but thats fine first time usually doesn't go great. Second run me my friend and the "owner" get teleported to venus and he grabs the relic. We throw a grenade, he leaps and....... he dies and it is then that the best, the noobiest words make music to my ears:
"OMG whoever threw that grenade got me killed! I took damage from your grenade!!"
After chocking back my laugh for several mintues we informed this LVL 32, glowhoo wearing warlock that that just isnt possible.
3 runs later after several fails my friend and I managed to grab all needed relics and carry the team through. Overall was a great laugh, even though the team was useless and the guy had 0 clue it actually gave me a laugh.
Can anyone top this?

6 RepliesI can never understand why people jump in the air with the Relic..all it does is draw the attention of the enemies. I run around he side and very rarely get killed that way.

One more join, young kid level 32.He says--- I'm not that good at vog I have yet to complete hard raid.. I can be the one that just revives others ;-)) I'm laughing under my breath.. Someone in the game cherps up--- KICK HIM ! I say --- NO WAY, I WANT this kid in here ! HE GO'S, I GO ! Lets get him through the hard raid..1st attempt young kid lasts about 30 seconds & he's dead,. SAME guy that said KICK HIM then says--- WIPE ! I say -- NO F that keep going. We kill Atheon. Young kid gets - VEX & ARMOUR.. He is shouting & screaming with excitement -- I GOT THE VEX-I GOT THE VEX ;-) "MY JOB IS DONE "

Not a noob at all but a story about 3 of my friends (two fellow clan members) Were playing a strike on Undying Mind. One of them, though he's a veteran, excellent gamer, super helpful and not in any way stupid, said that it was his first time running Undying Mind. They ran the whole strike and got to the boss. When they arrived in the area, one of them said "Guard the Conflux", because we often say stupid crap like we'll be running Crota and say "Oracle left stairs", so no one thought much of it. Like 5 minutes later when the Undying mind is low on health, the guy who's never ran the strike before says "How long do I have to defend the conflux?" Funniest thing ever. Though consider this, he'd been standing next to the conflux, where the Undying mind moves next to, thinking he had to kill Vex close to it and didn't die once....... That may have been hiliarious, but damn he's good.

4 RepliesIve been lucky, when i ask for people is always mic , no kids , depending on t he task i try to be fair , normal Crota between 30 and 32, hard Crota 31 to 32 , but ill let one 30 slide , help them out , VOG 30 and up , usually works

2 RepliesIf someone on requires "32 only" or [b]any[/b] specific weapon, I don't even think about joining them. Requirements like that are a very good indication of a terrible player. Looking for a team for Iron Banner is the only place that I [b]might[/b] overlook that requirement and join a group anyway.

I completely agree with your whole lfg russian roulette thing, So i was doing hard crota, a 32 Titan (sounded like 5th 6th grade maybe, fairly bad squeaker) says hes got sword. Normally id 2 sword crota but whatever. He says hes only killed him on normal mode... Ugh gonna be here awhile right? Anyways we get to the thrd sword everything is fine and crota glitches, gets up fast and kills him. He gets really, mad at himself, the fireteam is being real nice saying its ok crota glitched out- not your fault. He then perceeds to blame US (keep in mind he is almost yelling) We just laugh, dont even care that he said it, we all just laugh. He keeps going saying: YOU ALL DUN MESSED UP KIDS IN ABOUT 5 MINUTES YOU ARE ALL GONNA GET HACKED! Fireteam member 1: oh snap guys its gettin real in here (sarcasm alert) Member: what kinda hacks do you have? Im so scared Kid: oh i have all of them Me: do you have those... MLG HACKS?! Fireteam: OOOOOHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Kid: *shoots rocket at his foot and rage quits*

Not sure if it beats it... but me, last week when playing VOG hard... I was a Titan with increased lift/movement. I was the relic holder... went through the portal, went to jump to the middle but some how double jumped way passed it and fell off. Shame, as Atheon was almost dead. Or.... Crota's End on Hard. We were at the Deathsinger. Both Wizards were gone, both Shriekers were gone. Deathsinger was dead. All that was needed was to clear ADS until rewards pop up. I died when firing the last rocket at Deathsinger so I was doodling about in my inventory. Was about 5 mins after killing Deathsinger, maybe less. I dismantled one of my exotic gear. Popped up on everyone's screen that WildWayz007 recieved a xxxxxxxxx = they never caught what it said, just saw I received something. So they wiped. I wasn't paying attention so never stopped them. Leader: "Eh? Why are we back here? Damn game must have glitched out. Wipe again people" Leader: "Oh FFS - why are we back here. I saw we got rewards" Other player: "I only saw WildWayz007 get something" Me: "I never got any rewards" Leader: "I saw something pop up saying you received something" Me: "I dismantled some exotic gauntlets" Leader: "OH FFS HAAHHAHAH JESUS WILD, DON'T DISMANTLE IN GAME AT THOSE POINTS" ** queue lots of laughter, face palms, sighs ** We did it properly then, but alas the team wasn't getting it together enough to finish Crota. We had Crota on pretty much one or two hits left, he enraged, swordbearer got smashed by the Boomers as the Boomer guy wasn't distracting them. Someone tried to get the sword that was dropped but we all failed. Leader went silent. When we respawned, his character was stood there, pointing gun at ceiling... in silence. "I'm off guys. I can't take this anymore lol" We'll finish it tonight ;)

3 RepliesIf you throw grenades on Mars the relic holder generally gets sniped half the time before he can slam them. So technically who ever threw the grenade got him killed.

SGA: Those Minotaurs can be a ballache sometimes, so the delay between spawning in and the first oracle popping up can be used by the other two guys to take down the Minotaur too. Forget grenades, help the relic bro out by sending a few rockets down.

1 ReplyYes a noob relic holder asking the two randys that got ported to Mars with him to grenade, they must have been new because they did it. Worst part being the relic holder blamed his death on there "poor grenade placement" lol. Safe to say I backed out of that group.
