I'm a noob... kinda.. and am requesting info about rewards from Nightfall.
I've never completed a Nightfall or a raid. Not asking anyone to run one with me only asking about rewards from Nightfall. Is there a good chance for exotics or legendarys or will I have the same luck on ROC?

Don't try to do it alone. While it caaaaan be done it's about as likely as an exotic drop in ROC... Not very.

2 RepliesGood chance for legendaries, upgrade materials, strange coins, or exotics. Usually worth the few minutes it takes to beat them. If you can get in with a steady clan or group you can beat them relatively quick and get decent rewards. Good luck!

The loot for nightfalls is pretty good, exotics and legendaries have higher chances of dropping. Don't be under the assumption that legendaries or exotics are guaranteed though as they have ascendant materials legendary engrams and strange coins in the loot table as well

There's a pretty good chance that an exotic or legendary will drop. It's usually really hard with the burns but if you are careful you can make it through solo.

High chance of exotic armor/weapons. Otherwise they can be legendary weapons with random rolls (sometimes bad rolls but I've received great rolls too), strange coins, ascendant shards or ascendant energy.

I've gotten two exotics from nightfall now. And that's two more than what I have gotten running the roc strike playlist. It's worth it.

I can claim that the nightfall will have better gear than the roc strike list. Two things to keep in mind. The roc will drop lots of engrams and you can get lucky off of those. The nightfall granted is harder but just today I got patients and time exotic sniper soloing the nightfall. It just depends what you want to do and get out of it. Ps4 player here.

There is a lot more chance to get exotics in night falls than roc strikes. Roc strikes will give you about 1 exotic in every 100 strikes but night falls are probably around every 3 on average. Raids are a good chance too but only certain checkpoints can give you exotics and only weapon exotics but nightfalls can give armor.
