The game would have been great if Activision never got involved
-
Density represents everything wrong with the modern games industry.
-
Yes the game is terrible. The lack of content and misuse of potential is insane. With all the games that have lived up to the hype, why waste time on those that haven't?
-
It's f*cking awful. Be that as it may, I still play it because the graphics and controls are near perfect.
-
Huge potential, poor execution.
-
The idea was great, the exectutuion was horrible
-
No. I enjoy it. I wasn't expecting anything amazing but it definitely exceed my expectations. I love it.
-
I don't think it's bad, some of the hype killed it
-
I still play it, but i'm not a desticle that will claw your eyes out based on your opinion. I know the game is flawed horribly, but i still think it's fun.
-
I liked it

Game: Great gunplay Great music Good graphics PvP is fun. Shitty execution of story in game Extremely repetitive, forced replayability makes it a drag. Always with the stick on the carrot just out of reach. Not many fulfilling goals. Lot of disappointment with what could have been done with the game, and what was put out.
-
Destiny is an alright game, but honestly, if you turned down the graphics, this could run on my iPhone.
-
I'll put it like this Bungie went from making a game with a rich story and so much lore it would seem ridiculous, to a game that has no story and the only lore you can find is on a card. They went from Halo, the first one of the franchise, a game with Extreme amount of replay value, to Destiny. Repetitive and boring. 0 replay value.
-
Love it. I guess you could call me a desticle lol, but I'm not a fangirl that gets butthurt when someone puts it down cause like every other game it has its flaws. But I play daily.
-
This is against the rules
-
The constant flow of misplaced posts gets very annoying. As for the game, it could have been so much more. The environments are limited, and the story is non-existant. I do enjoy that Bungie is taking the Dark Souls approach to lore, but there needs to be more than a few cutscenes. The voice acting is flat on many points, as are the plot points. Seeing a previous cutscene shown to the public really makes you see that. (It was the Queen's Brother talking to the main character on Earth.) Not to mention re-using many areas for multiple missions. All that being said, the gameplay is tight and satisfying, and the animation is great. Enemy designs are amazing, along with ambience. It still manages to keep me on for hours on end.

It's good but the RNG will be the death of the game. Thankfully the new dlc will have reforging which could save the game's gun issues.
-
I used to enjoy it, and play it often. But I got burned out. Now I can't play and have fun anymore. I'm waiting till HoW to try it again. I'll likely just quit after 2 weeks. Most of my friends don't even touch it anymore. But yes, the main problem is the desticles.
-
Well most of them think that Kingdom Hearts is better (I made a thread about it), so I think it's safe to say that they hate Destiny with a passion.
-
The people hate it because they are sheep. The cool guy says it's bad so they do too. Destiny is great. It's lacking in a few areas but I play it because I like it.
-
No. I love the game, but everyone in #Destiny is a piece of crap (or the vast majority is). Thus, I moved to #Offtopic.
-
I like Destiny for what it is. I loathe Destiny for what it could have been.
-
ITS A GOOD GAME IT JUST DIDNT LIVE UP TO THE HYPE
-
The 2013 build of Destiny is better than the final version
-
I feel like there's at least one of these per week, but I'll still put in. Bungie made a lot of promises with Destiny. Most of those promises were not delivered. I will admit, the mechanics were on point, but everything else was shit. The story, customization, and even the landscapes all fell way too short. tldr: overhyped and full of empty promises
