Petiton to bring back materials for marks exchange
I want this to come back and work along side the current mark for material exchange. I am more of a PvE player and sometimes I want to buy Faction gear. Then its a long slow grind in the crucible, 2 marks for losing and 3 for winning compared to the 6 for doing a strike in the same amount of time as 1 crucible match, basically double-triple the amount. I for one wouldn't mind exchanging my vanguard marks for crucible marks to buy faction gear. Also, why can you get faction gear with only crucible marks when you can level up factions in PvE? I mean really, why not have 2 sets of gear for each faction, one costs Crucible marks, the other costs Vanguard marks. Make it happen Bungie.

They removed the old system because people abused it, farming materials for hours in some cases making it impossible for people to get some themselves. Even if you kept the new system it would still result in people farming so Bungie would never bring it back. Also the reason there is more gear for crucible marks is because for PVE players you not only have vanguard gear but also raid gear as well as a higher chance of exotic drops from the strike playlist and nightfalls. While I agree with amount of marks you get in PVP is awful and a pain to get, I do not however see a point of allowing PVE players access to PVP stuff when you already get a lot more than the PVP players do.

I have 600 of each material in my bank, each of my characters is carrying 300 of each material. I'm not grabbing mats in the field anymore (when I stopped I roughly had half of what I do now). I dread opening chests because I don't want to see more mats but want to see if a Legendary is inside. Just a little while ago I got a package from doing a Daily Public event, it only had 20 spin metal inside, that was disappointing. I kept it because it just seems wrong to delete a reward. This is the same reason I haven't deleted the material rewards from elsewhere. If I could do an exchange I would feel a lot better about getting mats as a reward.

Yeah they should bring it back. Or at least make a win in the crucible worth 5 marks and a loss worth 3.
