petition to bring back blades of crota spawns
They took it out, and it's screwing up all of us players who grind patrols, and bounties. It's already hard enough work to do these day in and day out with very little rewards in return. And now bungie has just given us the finger with this update. Anyone in accord to bring back blades of crota spawn please type sign

1 ReplyPeople are going to say "just do 'Fist of Crota' story". And they are right, but why? Why can't we just have Blades of Crota show up semi-randomly during patrols? It spiced things up. It allowed us to get more than one thing done per activity. I remember doing moon patrols and coming back to the tower with several bounties to turn in. Now the 2 Eris bounties related to Blades of Crota are nuisance. Not an enhancement of my patrols. A separate orbit/mission start cycle. Tedious. This was a bad decision and it deserves an explanation.

7 RepliesI'm not convinced it was intentional, much like the Winters Run snafu. On that they alluded to something along the lines of they accidentally rolled back the game on that strike to a version they considered and they didn't have a timetable for a fix. I find it very odd, that they would take away the blades without announcing it. If they really did do this on purpose, shame on Bungie. The game is lacking in content and things to do overall, not to mention having 2 bounties tied to this activity.

Ya blades mission, quick & easy. What if you are one of the many people catching them while on patrol for bounties & public events? They added a little extra, plus just not cool of bungie to simply take them without explaining.

1 Replyi noticed, complain with lack of content, they add blades of crota and patrol is finally interesting and when it removed people act like they dont give a -blam!-... BS! they made it more interesting and people need to get that

15 RepliesOf course it's been pointed out already, but lol at the noobs that still won't just go do fist of Crota like the rest of us. It takes like 5 mins if you run through, plus the huge amount of thrall spawns before and after the sword make for a butt load of other easy bounties at once. I knock out 30 melee kills w/ no death, melee 7 hive rapidly, kill hive w/ special or heavy, 100 precision kills, collect husks, kill 2 at once with a fusion rifle, etc. all within those 3 sword kill runs. Almost any bounty can be incorporated into that mission just like patrol, so don't give me that "but I love to grind all my bounties at once," Bologna.

Bring them back, this game needs more content even if it is little things like that.

Fist of Crota. Learn to do this bounty in under 3 minutes. No need to clutter up the planets with these stupid knights that just get in the way. Glad they are gone makes getting to my 3 hive majors on Earth easier to farm without having to avoid a bunch of acolytes.

I 1v1'd a Fallen walker with a sword of Crota and made some serious damage, it felt a bit like being Cloud from Final Fantasy or Sora/Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. The blade vanished before the end though :(

TDB is coming to an end, so the blades come to an end. It's not much of a problem, it takes all of 10 minutes to farm three skills on the first dark below earth mission.

Bungie are -blam!-ing wankers! They clearly haven't got a -blam!-ing clue what they are doing. Keep changing weapons, bring in commendations, then get rid of them. It's fast becoming a farce! Any other media has to be ready and almost perfect before it's released to the public. You don't buy a cd, book or film and suddenly have content removed after purchase. Get your -blam!-ing act together Bungie you -blam!-ing morons.

4 RepliesJust do the fist of crota mission, kill the blade, go to orbit. Repeat 3x, way faster than waiting for them to spawn on earth or the moon.

1 ReplyYou can do the mission on earth and get all three blades, or blade related missions done in five minutes. Why wait around on patrol?

If they don't bring them back, at least change the Eris bounty so we only have to kill one. Otherwise, it's Bungie telling us to grind their game in a set manner of their opinion, which is not necessarily what all of us want to do.

9 RepliesIt depends on why they were taken out. There's video footage of a player glitching the game and being able to kill other guardians on patrol. If that's the reason that they're out they can stay out.

2 RepliesI prefer doing fist of crota normally complete about 5-6 bounties after 3 runs which doesn't take long,on patrols you always had ppl messing around ie kill 15 hive with sword,every time someone would run off with sword or shoot hive first
