Trading would ruin the game. Instead add a (roll)ability to loot in raids and nightfall. So if something comes up that you already have you can pass and let someone who needs it get it.
Secondly. Add a a bonus to people who come in first place. In crucible. Or create a 12 hr buff that cost like 40 strange coins and the buff adds a 10% chance to loot a specific item you choose. So say you need a suros. You go to xur. Buy the buff. Choose suros. Than do raids or nightfall or even crucible.
THAT WILL GIVE PEOPLE AN INCENTIVE TO PLAY. CAUSE NOW THEY HAVE ONLY 12 HRS TO PLAY AS MUCH CONTENT AS POSSIBLE IN ORDER TO GET THE ITEM THEY REALLY WANT.
just to explain. I have a 32 hunter and a 32 warlock. With a 30 titan.
Put in over 300 hours. And still haven't gotten a suros. Gjally. Or a Monte Carlo. But I have triples of everything else. So yeah I know how frustrating the game can be. I've completely quit playing. I even refuse to buy the house of wolves Dlc.
And for the 3rd idea.
Make specific bosses drop specific items. For example have end game level vanguard playilists. And say. The Devils lair boss has increased chance to get an ice breaker. While phogoth has an increased chance to drop a gjally. And so on and so forth.
There's plenty of people making great ideas for the game. But the devs just aren't listening. They only say or act like they are.
