Crucible. We identified the problem and applied it.

Tonight, me and a friend did a crucible experiment. We're both super good at crucible without using op guns or crutch weapons. We use strategy and sheer force to overcome enemies. Enough with that. Tonight we kinda had an off night. Something didn't seem right. We weren't performing well and we only went maybe positive 1 every round compared to 3-4k/d on any other day. Anywho, we murmured amongst ourselves and said, what the real problem with destiny's PvP. We came to this list of conclusions. 1: Warlocks. OP supers, OP melee, OP self-res, OP energy drain (also on titans), OP radiant skin (reduced incoming damage) 2: Crutch weapons. Thorn, suros, red death, fusion rifles, and felwinters. (Not shotguns, felwinters). 3: Crutch playstyle. Hiding and croutching with shoguns or rushing enemies with fusion rifles with accelerated coils. 4: Panics. People that see an enemy and smash the super button combo so they won't die, even if its one -blam!-ing person. We also noticed if we got into a game with a warlock that had a build of ANY of those listed crutches, they would out perform anyone else on the team. So, we identified the problem, time to experiment! We applied crutch tactics to what we already know and combined it to make it a cancerous rampage in crucible. Trust me...people quit, a lot of them. As stated before, our regular loadouts for crucible were hunters outfitted with TLW, a HROF sniper and a proximity rocket launcher and a crucible build. So we switched it up. We became the problem. I switched to my warlock and equipped thorn, suros, purifier, plug.1 (with acc. coils), felwinters, and proximity rockets into team doubles and out performed almost every team we faced. This goes to prove that using these listed weapons take no skill whatsoever to use. We were laughing the whole time and not even trying. At all. View my warlocks previous crucible matches to show evidence that this experiment went on. I never went negative and we only lost maybe 3 times within 3hrs. We were camping, double teaming people with suros, 3 shotting and hiding with thorn, blinking around the map and using panic supers whenever we got the chance. We played cheap, and won 95% of the time. This goes to show you that of you use any of these strategies in crucible, you're part of the problem. We almost felt bad for the others we faced. We played so cheap. I wanted to message some teams and apologize. There's no skill gap in using cheap weapons. If you use these, and come out on top, you're garbage. Case closed
