Gjallarhorn Drop?
I've been playing Destiny since right around release and have well over 1000+ hours of gameplay between all the characters I have or have redone. STILL NO GJALLARHORN FOR ME. I've seen ALL my buddies get it and I am the odd man out. SOME HAVE TWO OR THREE OF THEM. This is starting to affect my gameplay because no will join my fire team because I don't have a Gjallarhorn etc. It's getting to the point I am about to sell the game. Is there some secret or some way to get it to drop for me? What am I doing wrong?

Ok so I could NEVER get the vex, and then could NEVER get the gally. Then I got them both. And the same way. Each time I was doing the hard raid of course and like a noob died early on. I was carried through the raid as a ghost and voila, the most coveted exotics dropped for me!! Coincidence? Probably. But neither gun dropped for me before or since so.... Idgaf, I'll carry anyone through the raid as a ghost to try this out.
