An open letter to the Feedback Community
Guardians,
The Feedback forums are a place for [u]intelligent and constructive feedback for the betterment of the game.[/u] Feedback means you have something useful and helpful to say. [i]It does [b]not[/b] mean you need a tissue and some therapy.[/i] When creating a post in Feedback, please do so [b]in a thoughtful manner, with your wits about you, your research to support you, and your head on your shoulders.[/b] Whining and crying about RNG, "I quit because...", nerf this, gjallarhorn that... It's not helpful, no one cares, (especially not Bungie) and it makes you look like an absolute imbecile. [b][u]STOP DOING IT. [/u][/b]

2 RepliesAlthough I agree with most things you have said, one stands out. The "I quit because..." feedback posts are actually very helpful towards the development of future games. That is the definition of constructive feedback. Telling the company "These are the reasons I quit, and these are the areas I feel are lacking and where you could improve on future DLC'S or games." is how the company grows and learns from mistakes. If we all blindly sat here saying this game is perfect (which it's not, it's complete trash) they would not improve, number 2 would be the same shit with the same price tag and a different name.

I take everything with a grain of salt. I am not going to condemn anyones post simply because it has been rehashed thousands of times before. Some of the complaints (whining) is somewhat justfied and can be discussed in a positive way. RNG is an ongoing issue with the game yet has not been resolved. I can imagine for players with 1000+ hours and not finding a particular item is quite frustrating. Although it's not the feedback you want read or comment on it is feedback for the company none the less.

You can dismiss every complaint, anywhere, as crying or whinging. But that would come under the definition of Ad Hominem. Thus you are making an argument to the person, not the complaint.
