The "gamer girl" term is pathetic
I am sorry but to classify yourself as a girl gamer only to draw attention to yourself erks me and offends me. You are a girl that games so henceforth you are a GAMER. Fyi this conversation started in a party chat. Don't like it then move along lol.

The only time I've seen that term is online and I don't see a problem with it. If someone wants to refer to specifically females who play video games then that's a valid way to refer to them. I've seen the term "male gamers" but not as often.
