How it ALL went down

The four fierce figures transmatted down to the desolate area, obvious legendary and epic armor decorating their forms- armor obtained from the unkown, custom painted and infused with the guardians' power itself. They then took on a pose, showing off their gleaming, powerful, frightening tools of destruction also obtained from somewhere far beyond- the leader firmly planting a banner of challenge and symbolism. Alpha team. The legendary crew had been to hell and back, violently thrusted from the jaws of death into a world ages ahead of where they once thrived and lived. They never backed down. Never gave up. Never let any creature or any guardian best them- time traveling deity or ancient powerful god. The words of "Guardian down" had never even crossed their minds. It was all about to change. Aldryn sighed in exasperation as he rammed the sharp edge of his fireteam's banner down into the moon's crumbly surface for what seemed the thousandth time. "They never learn, do they," he couldn't help think, as Thrak's polished Fang of Ir Yût clicked behind him- ready to reap the bodies of the enemy guardians who challenged them. Aldryn's squad over the years had become a legend among all guardians and darkness creatures alike- the belief was well founded. But with that belief, came doubt. Countless powerful groups had doubted or disagreed with the legendary fireteam Alpha, challenging and seeking to best them. Countless powerful groups fell to that same fireteam. Group Bravo- Alpha's long time rival fireteam, had finally found the guts to challenge them in a match of Clash to determine who really was legendary... Of course Alpha wouldn't back down. Thrak's voice soon interrupted Aldryn's rambling thoughts. "Alright everybody, same fight, same plan. T, you and Aldryn take point posted up in the cave. We're gonna need your cover with that sniper you got from the vault Aldryn, and you watch his back for thugs T, got it?" He knew they would listen, Thrak was after all their crucible coordinator. Aldryn may have been the leader, but nobody knew how to handle crucible strategy like Thrak. "Sounds like a plan," T- short for Taran mocked, sounding bored out of his mind. He had always hated the name, calling it a girl's title and insisted they refer to him as T instead. Aldryn just simply nodded, going back into thought, about his sniper. Praedyth. Praedyth's Revenge was it's name, acquired after destroying the seven waves of oracles within the Vault of Glass. While for some reason it wasn't very effective for fighting the darkness, the gun had a knack for destroying guardians. Fast to fire with literally no kickback at all, it was near impossible to not get dropped by. Thrak continued. "Alright, the rest of you know the drill. I have the Ward (of Dawn) ready for middle. Spread out, communicate, keep your eyes on the motion tracker and watch for lens glare. Don't need another accident to happen, do we Tara?" He mocked, making fun of an incident that happened a while back involving ignorance and a sniper headshot from the other team. "Yeah yeah, real funny Thrak-ass. Let's just get this over with," Tara finished with a yawn and called Thrak his nickname. She was T's twin sister, both resurrected at the exact same time by different ghosts. The two polar opposites of the group, even through they were twins. Hunter and Titan. T was quiet, small, quick, and extremely skilled with knives, making him the effective Bladedancer of the group. Tara was also small... but not to be trifled with, her Shoulder Charge and Stormfist would blast right through a Warlocks flame shield- making her obviously the Striker of the team. Aldryn had the honor of being the groups' marksman and weapon master- or Gunslinger in correct terms. While a shotgun would likely get him killed, put a scout rifle and sniper into his hands for almost one hundred percent lethality. "Now keep in mind that they outnumber us by two, while they are very fairy-like, it is always useful to have butt and head with us," Thrak advised. Both Warlocks were out on a mission involving the hive, Toland and something about "Juju". Nobody knew what they were on about, or cared. The timer suddenly started to countdown, throwing Aldryn out of his thoughts again and causing him to focus. Across the map and in the open, was the enemy team. Bravo. They were clad in all red, Aldryn managing to decipher which fighting style they used by their armor. Three solid hunks of plate armor and Three billowing capes. No dresses. It was too bad that the range was too far for sniping, Aldryn could easilly take them all out before they could crouch once the game starts. 10 He looked down his scope, and was alarmed to see that none of them had guns except one Hunter near the front. 9 From the range it was impossible to make out the classification of the gun, Aldryn could determine that he was aiming down the sights at them though. 8 There was no lens glare, so it wasn't a sniper.... 7 6 Aldryn rolled his joints (ha), ready to dash to a cave system on the left. 5 4 He awaited Lord Shaxx's familiar, commanding voice that always sounded the beginning of the game with some corny phrase. 3 2 "They don't even have any guns except one," Aldryn warned the others suddenly, just now remembering about their communication strategy. 1- Destroy the enemy, Guardi- But his voice never finished the speech. Before any of them could even move a foot, Aldryn heard a massive blast sound from the enemy team, and everything suddenly went black. Death, or at least the death in the crucible's virtual reality. Aldryn never had seen such a thing before. DEFEAT- suddenly appeared in big red letters. A message suddenly popped up before Aldryn's eyes inside his helmet, showing his death, or rather his whole team's death, and then the instrument of his demise. He had never seen or heard of the model, series, type- anything. The only Thing he could comprehend was that... They lost. The legendary Alpha fireteam had finally met their match. He had no idea how, but that one tool just blasted his whole team, in one shot, from further than even a sniper could go. Then the letters of the tool phased into his HUD's vision. He had never seen the name before, it was serene and powerful at the same time. A beautiful but also deadly name. Fitting. Very fitting. He could only envy, as the letters Felwinter's Lie, scrolled through his vision. Fin. Tl;Dr= Felwinter's Lie is OP.
