Okay, does the spirit bloom loot chest that you can open after defeating the Templar actually affect the rewards from the other chests, or not? I just got kicked from a fireteam for opening it, but I heard it doesn't make a difference. Does anyone know for sure? Edit - I mean the Templar; not gate keeper. Edit - As I thought it appears the answer is "no". Thanks all for clarifying this.
