23 RepliesStupid 343 Industries. It'll probably be a 6 hour campaign with no story depth, a bunch of dlc, and little to no repay value except for pvp. (Yes i recognize the irony here) 343 had ruined the franchise for me. Bungie created masterpieces with Halo CE through Reach but 343 put out a polished up turd for Halo 4. And the beta for 5 was disappointing too. Long live the Master Chief in his previous glory! Before the perversion of the franchise! [spoiler]when i think about 343 developing the new Halo games, i think of the episode of South park where George Lucas and Steven Spielberg sodomize Indiana Jones[/spoiler]

I always end up buying the worst games in franchises but actually they're pretty good games, just maybe not as good-looking such as mk vs dc and halo 4. But these games are really good off you're a first timer top said franchise, so halo 4 is not an embarrassment. It just depends on what game introduced you to a series.

Masterchief destroying cities and having to kill off oni agents to survive and complete his mission, stretching his morals to the max Locke having to take down the greatest war hero humanity has ever known. I doubt they will kill eachover as the Locke actor said he's going to be a main character for the next few years and MC ain't dying. He's the face of halo and xbox.

I bet Locke started a group of Spartans (probably following a different existential ideology due to an event with the Master Chief) to ally with the elites, maybe both realized the battle between the Covenant and the human race is destroying both alike, making Chief look like the bad guy for leaving invaded city's/blown to pieces Covy ships in ruin regardless of his positive feats. Kinda gives the "Traitor" theme it's justice. But then again Locke may have allied with the Elites simply to start a campaign against Chief and the Covenant as sort of a joint radical group, rendering himself as the antagonist and it's just another day in the field playing as good old Master Chief!

I can take or leave multiplayer (for me, depends solely on vehicle gameplay) but as long as the single player is good and has split-screen, i might buy it. The way I see it, the -blam!--up that was the master chief collection was probably 343 prioritising the Halo 5 beta. That means if Halo 5 is good, they're an average, if overworked dev-team. If Halo 5 sucks hard, 343 is undoubtedly one of the shittest devs ever.
