It was just a rare so it hardly matters, but still. I tried to turn it in to him and when he took it he gave me some rep gains but not an actual item, not even a strange coin.
I'm surprised it took the Cryptarch so long to resort to outright thievery.

Edited by ChickenHawk110: 3/30/2015 5:54:47 AMThe blue whatever it was is probably at the post master. If you don't have room to store it, you wont even see it drop on the right hand side of the screen. EDIT: Nevermind, I know thats how raid and strike drops work, but an engram would have been taking up that slot in your inventory in the first place.

Maybe Rahool just wanted to be a friend and already dismantled your rust burner
-
Video or it didn't happen
-
This proves my idea about Rahool. Legendary Engrams actually turns into legendary weapons or exotics, but he keeps the ones with good buffs and tells you it turned into coins only. What a douche.
-
I've had about 20 legendary out of blue engrams but he steals my legendary engrams an give me shards everytime. All my luck goes into blue engrams
-
You dismantled it. You didn't turn it in. Watch your thumbs next time. Live by the sword Die by the thumbs...
-
It was the two armed man
-
That's our Cryptarch.
-
Are you sure your inventory isn't full ? I noticed when I dismantled my second Fang of Ir Yut I didn't get anything but weapon parts, but that's because I didn't have a Radiant Energy placeholder and had a full inventory.
-
At least he didn't turn a legendary into a rare
-
Happened to me as well thought it was lag but looks like it's a glitch
-
Yeah, thats probably the nicest thing he has done

Master Rahool's gruesome death will be a major plot point of Destiny 2.
-
He did something nice and did not make you waste your time dismantling the blue he gave you.
-
Did you check the postmaster? I know it shouldn't be there but you never know.
