Clearly they wanted to sell as many copies of the game as they could..right? Odd that they didn't focus on only releasing destiny on the next gen- the usual motive being..people will want to buy the game- so they will get the system.. Seems to me.. the world wasn't ready for the ps4-box deadline- so they dumbed it down a bit and held back on the upgrades until more people own the systems. . ..why didn't they work with the systems- to make destiny it's flagship game..to sell more systems? ..greed.. ..they would have had to choose a single system to release on first. Cutting out half the market and profits.. ..I bet with only half the profits.. they couldn't support this game for 10 years. ..so why not pc then? ..because of how easy it is to hack pc games for info.. They would find everything out before us. Console.... No clip Give all items Done. As a destiny player- who first started playing with my ps3. . (Free demo) who then upgraded to ps4 (could see the potential with the graphics and lights) ..my first impressions, after upgrading was.. "Dam they should have never released this on ps3" It takes a lot for me to outright shun an old system. . (Hell I still break out the IBM to play doom from time to time).. So for me to just go drop 500 bucks to make the game look how it should.. says something. . After the upgrade-i found it easier to get into the game and all the little details.. Hell just being able to see my footprint clearly on the moon.. ..one small step right? I'm just saying.. they knew what they where doing when they released what they did.. ..it was just to expose as many people as possible to the destiny world..while still keeping it private on the console. Now they can sit back- listen to us talk and design the perfect game- without even having to pay the minds who came up with it. Quite genius.. -you'll notice they also closed off this forum to people who don't play.. most think it's to stop spam on the board. . ..but really it's to protect their investment- and the ideas that are generated here. Now it would require more effort for someone from competing development crew- to watch the forums. One could watch these forums for ideas.. then go and make their own individual game. Sure your not directly in composition-but the mechanics might be the same. In closing..they should have focused on the one system - like how HALO was only for Xbox for a while.. ..must feel Priddy shifty to be a game master who wakes up every day- knowing they are screwing all of their followers. -be a leader worth following
