So according to Forbes only 19.2% of all destiny players have completed a raid. And that means that not everybody got to actually experience the best part of destiny. So after many players reached level 20 they just couldn't handle the awful grind that is destiny and thus never had any incentive to actually continue to play and try the raid and probably quit.
I thought of a way to actually encourage players to grind in order to try and complete raids, which is the best part of destiny. If anyone has ever played any of the old mega man games you may remember that in order to get an upgrade to any body piece you usually needed something before to get it and before that you needed something else. Whether that was a boss power or an upgrade body piece. The idea here is to allow guardians of low level to access some part of a raid. And to advance further they are going to need something else.
To achieve this there are going to be separated rooms like all of the raids so far. But to advance further to the "actual" raid you are obviously going to need a six persons fire team.
The first part would involve a door like the vault of glass but in order to enter you need 4 people to stand in four platforms. No enemies around and the four people don't need to be on a fire-team but they need to be at least level 10. Once inside they get a very similar vibe of raids, whatever Bungie wants whether it's enemies or puzzles. The next place you are going to need to be a higher level and this time 5 guardians again you don't need to be in the same fire team but you all need to be lvl 25. Once inside more raid awesomeness but they enemies are going to be tough and a higher level than 25 in order to encourage guardians to continue the painful grind.
(Side note: I think the platforms should just be in the ground so it's not noticeable but not impossible to find with the the level number you need to be.) Also I think the AI enemies should be challenging not just shoot and hide like dregs or run at you and hide like sword bearer.
After this the next path would be the actual raid where you are going to need to be in a fire team of six and at least level 34 or higher( since destiny 2 will have a higher level cap). And then the "real raid begins".
