Buff other Exotic Rockets by 2x and Galli would still be king of the DMG dealers.
I hope to god the new boss has a "Head Shot" so that sniper rifles are not super weak like the crota raid. So since its all shield rockets are a must.

Ice Breaker was as powerful as Galli when used right, but alli`s are basically required to take down Crota on hard.
Galli does 16.5k DMG while Ice breaker and Black Hammer do 1K max and you get maybe 3 rounds off.
Sorry im on phone hard to spell etc. But please fill me in. Galli is already so OP in PVE it doesnt need and more help like making guys able to solo crota on Normal with it. Not to mention on Omnigual with Solar Burn it makes the Galli do 45k DMG.
Truth= 3800 DMG
D.Breath= 3500-4500 Dmg
Galli= Link says 8500 but its more like 12k DMG either way at worst its almost 3x the DMG all for better tracking?
Notice anything wrong here.
Even if you nerfed it 50% it would do 2x as much DMG as a D Breath round that burnt the enemy with the solar grenade.
It still would make it unique and make Truths better tracking worth the loss, and make D Breat unique and still pay 4k DMG for having solar grenades.
But 16k DMG or 4x as much DMG as the others? ANd on top f the Wolfpack rounds go to other targets after primary is dead so DMG isnt wasted? Sorry guys.....OP. And I dont mind OP. I just dont like it that Galli is so powerful it changes the entire game experience of a player who gets it.
A 28 on Crota Normal who had no exp but a Galli would be picked over a 30 with a Sniper who had run the raid.
This means guys who get it are pretty much the same as supermodels, everyone wants them on there team. And that changes how many raids you can get into as a newb etc. So if they insist on the "Random" drop [ WHich IMO isnt random, why do I get 5 Plan C`s and buddy`s get 5 Gallis or 6 Gallis and have a buddy with 20 Mythoclasts out of 40 Atheon hards but no Galli]
If you want to keep Galli as broken as it is change it to some very hard mission to "Earn it"
So either you nerf Galli hard to be say 25% more powerful than other exotics for there special abilities, or you buff the others to be within 25% of Gali.
I do like buffing option more.

Since a rocket launcher is supposed to be destructive but if it's too much for you then I'd suggest go play mine craft or my little pony since the game it's too much for you... Maybe start with something soft like the games I just named... Cod might be Ok but still rifles, shotguns, snipers, rocket launchers, and knifes kill you there so it might b a little bit too much for you too. Parent discretion might b needed. Or have them watch you play so you won't see the violent parts.

2 RepliesStop it. Just. Stop. It. Dang, but this community seems to have a "one-size-fits-all" approach to every problem, real or perceived. Nerf it. Nerf it! NERF IT! Checking your toons, you must realize how shocked I was to see you have three Truths and no Gjallahorn. More, much of your argument stems around the envy people with no Gjallahorn have for those that do. I do believe I see a pattern evolving. Look, I just got Gjallahorn last week and was able to beat hard raids, Nightfalls, and pretty much anything else without it. That said, those things are much easier now, and I like that. I was never excluded from a raid because I didn't have one, but you can be sure I'm more welcome now. That one gun is a pretty big incentive to keep pushing through things that aren't fun. You don't want one, don't get one, and if you do, shard it if you are so principled. But please, stop trying to remove an incentive for players to push on. Nerfs aren't helping. At all.

3 RepliesI played the Gatekeeper yesterday with heroic modifier on my three characters, I just got a gally and I was trying to get Wolfpack rounds perk. First run > Gally without wolfpack, took 4 rockets to kill Gatekeeper. Second run > Gally with wolfpack, took 2 rockets to kill Gatekeeper. Third run > Hunger of Crota maxed, took 3 rounds to kill Gatekeeper. If you nerfed gally by 50% it would be worse then Hunger of Crota. It is fine as is, I still prefer IB for Atheon.

There's no reason it should be nerfed because it's arguably the rarest weapon in the game,because xur hasn't sold it in a long time. Those who have it should feel special that they do. Not to the point where they are arrogant and require it for Atheon and Crota though. Truth shouldn't compare to gjallahorn. Truth is more a PVP rocket in my opinion. while Gjallahorn is a PVE boss killer. If gjallahorn isn't as good as it is and unique, I wouldn't be playing the game still. I understand the power difference, but guns shouldn't be equal to each other like in cod. There will always be gun that is a cut above the rest which is how it should be.

1 ReplyI was enjoying your post, a different twist on the usual ghorn post, I didn't expect it and you actually present a good case, until the end when you ruin the whole thing by saying earn it. The only weapons you earn are from exotic bounties, the rest, despite it obviously being broken is rng (random number generator), which is biased of course, some weapons clearly show more than others, but it is still a lottery none the less.

1 ReplyHonestly I don't care about it being a monstrous rocket that constantly evades me. If someone is on my team with it I'm pretty happy. Besides, would you want to strip that one last super weapon of it's glory? So far it's one of the few exotics to survive the rebalances undamaged.
