Ruin Wings + Thunderlord = Yes
I know its not as good as BJJ + Obsidian Mind, but this combo is just about as gdlk, even better than Ruin Wings + Horn IMO.
TLord is basically the Fang with Full Auto and Combustion, and with Ruin Wings, this is damn near a primary. Its great on enemies since it just takes one bullet to kill most things, and then you can use it to put a dent on bosses. Using it as a defender is even better since you'll be making tons of orbs, due to the heavy kills.
So why isn't this being used much? I know TLord is rare but I've almost never heard anyone use this combo.

If ruin wings worked it would be great. I really have no luck with it though. I'll get more than i could use in one area then nothing the rest of the mission.

My ruin wings are ruined, I don't get heavy ammo more often, it's just a lot of ammo in one part and it stop working

2 RepliesBetter to use a machine gun that gets you to find more ammo as well. Unless thunderlord so happens to have that perk, I don't own one.

Thank you for comparing Thunderlord to Combustion and not Firefly. I do this all the time. Pair with Iron Harvest for best results.

5 RepliesI've wants to try ruin wings with something like corrective measure where it has the perk "expect to find more heavy ammo". If they stacked, it would be ultimate heavy.

I think my Ruin Wings are broken, they rarely drop heavy for me. Take em off, kill some stuff... put em back on. Nothing.

I find my ruin wings don't drop heavy with my thunder lord equipped

I use that with iron harvest perk. Let the orbs flow

It's nice when the ruin wings are getting you heavy drops. I went through an entire strike with them on though, got two heavy bricks before I even made it to the darkness zone and that was it. I wish there was something more consistent like every 10-15 enemies would get a brick

This combo is amazing I just got ruin wings from xur today and I've been using my TL as a scout rifle from the beginning it's just beast and the guy who said use surplus no need most of TL kills are 1 shot except for the elites this combo wreaks
