Edited by CrimsonIXEspada: 3/30/2015 7:34:29 PMIt's a good game. I give it an 8/10 and I'm an Elder Scrolls Fanboy Lorewhore. People who were expecting a classic Elder Scrolls game were disappointed but wrong for assuming so. ESO isn't an Elder Scrolls Game first and an MMO second. It's the other way around. So when I hear/read most of the complaints that people make are ridiculous. Out of three nay-sayers, one is a person who played it in the first couple months before the patches and bug fixes; one is a misinformed skyrim late-bloomer; and one is someone who never even played the game but heard a couple people bashing it and decided to bash it too because conformity is cool nowadays. *sarcasm*
News Flash people: Games rarely if ever ship out perfect. Especially an MMO. To think it was going to be smooth and perfect the day of launch was absurd
I'll use a better example. Let's take MineCraft. We all know what it is and how it looks. But what about the Mash-Up packs? MineCraft had a Skyrim Mash-Up. Was that suppose to turn MineCraft into Skyrim? Well it looks like Skyrim and sounds like Skyrim, but it's still MineCraft and plays like MineCraft. ESO looks like Elder Scrolls and sounds like Elder Scrolls but it's still a MMO and plays like one. Common sense

I don't get what it's going to be like. Mmo? Rpg? Both? Story mission or just a bunch of random quests and dungeon and boss battles? And is it completely different area than skyrim?

Anyone know the release date?
-
Funny I got a thank you email for participating in the beta. But didn't actually get a beta code
-
I need a ps4 first, but definitely yay
-
Played it on pc and was unimpressed by endgame, if you wanna have a fun elder scrolls game across several characters/factions I'd say get it. If ur looking for endgame/pvp keep looking.
-
Nay, I don't like other people with my Elder Scrolls. I play Skyrim when I want some Solitude.
-
Anyone know if there is a special edition or anything like that?

I haven't played it yet. Is it worth getting? I'm a huge mmorpg fan. So I'm curious. I need pros and cons
-
I'm going to get it. A little upset at Zenimax's handling of lore, but I'll still play it and have fun.

Yay sounds like a blast to me
-
Yay for me, at first I was like guess not because I couldn't do a subscription based game, then I heard a lot of bad reviews and the list went downhill, all the sudden maybe two months ago the sub fee dropped and they showed all the improvements and I was like oh heck yeah its on dragon-knight here I come

-blam!- the hell nay!

I played the Beta for three full days this weekend. After comparing it to the last year I spent playing it on my PC, purchasing it for the consoles is a resounding "Yes" in my opinion. They adapted the UI for ease and smoothness, combat is fluid and "feels" like you're in combat. The Quests are as deep and numerous as you feel they should be in a game carrying the title of Elder Scrolls, the crafting is well done and requires going out and finding the correct materials (not waiting on RNGesus to gift them to you), the armor and weapons are varied and numerous... it's as great a game as the Pc version has evolved into over the last year, and the connection to the game servers is butter-smooth. In short; this is a great game that Zenimax Online Studios has made, and it's a great adaptation for the consoles. Everyone who is a fan of MMO's, RPG's, and The Elder Scrolls franchise needs to seriously consider purchasing this game for their console of choice.

Definitely getting it. I need my mmo fix and Dcuo isn't cutting it atm. Though I am very exciting for Heavenward (FF ARR expansion)
-
Gonna go yay started playing skyrim again just to get used to controls
-
Big nay
-
Can someone go into detail of how big the game world is exactly
-
I personally enjoy it. I've been loving the beta
-
To each his own. I personally hate WoW copies.
-
I would say yes. I am probably going to pre-order or buy day one. Especially now that there isn't a monthly fee.

Yay definitely yay after watching lots of the eso streams that have been going on This weekend with the beta. It looks fast paced and combat looks good and exciting. Seems deep i customization both appearance wise and ability wise. This will be my game for the summer. Pvp looks like it will be epic!
