A few days ago Destiny lost an amazing Guardian, dedicated gamer, Army vet, n an all around amazing person. ImOnMySpaceship, commited suicide. I posted about it in the fb group Xbox One Destiny Fireteam if u would like to read more. Since that post people have deleted legendary weapons (even G-horns) for him, offered to pay for his funeral or make donation, gone to the speaker n sat down n had a moment in his memory, and even gone to the spaceport n had a moment in his name. There have been suggestions saying we should all get together n wear the same shader, ect. But the one thing everyone has stated is that they would like to see Bungie do a community focus on him. Why he chose to commit suicide no one knos. But I do kno that he touched many people in the Destiny community. Reguardless of what he was doing or whether not he had already done them he was ALWAYS there and ready to help people with the Daily, Weekly, Nightfall, Crota... he didnt care he just wanted to play and have a good time. I am posting this on behalf of all the people on the fb group that have asked for u to PLEASE dont let this Guardian fade away, but give him the recognition he deserves.

Lol what a dumb -blam!-

Someone is still playing his account. Or someone made a new one.

I have severe chronic depression, I wake up every morning hoping I die...I hate fighting with it...I don't talk to people and I now I hardly eat...I lost the only person I've ever loved...I left the marines...I live on state aid because I can't function right...if I do sleep I'm cursed with -blam!-ing night terrors that I can't seem to forget...I lost all my friends...I've tried blowing my brains out...but my cat wouldn't stop scratching at my door...everyday is the same repetition...Same with life. get a job, go to work, follow the laws, act normal, watch the news, vote for a king, save money for the old years, become old, and die. So when people think depression isn't a problem then their eye sight is a problem. This isn't for -blam!-ing sympathy...or anything I hate people just -blam!-ing take note of this and realize what you kids have and what your life can become if you work for it.

Not of the princes and prelates with periwigged charioteers... riding triumphantly laurelled to lap the fat of the years,--Rather the scorned -- the rejected -- the men hemmed in with the spears. The men of the tattered battalion which fights till it dies, dazed with the dust of the battle, the din and the cries. the men with the broken heads and the blood running into their eyes. Not the be-medalled Commander, beloved of the throne. Riding cock-horse to parade when the bugles are blown but the lads who carried the koppie and cannot be known. Not the ruler for me but the ranker, the tramp of the road. The slave with the sack on his shoulders pricked on with the goad. The man with too weighty a burden, too weary a load. The sailor, the stoker of steamers, the man with the clout. The chantyman bent at the halliards putting a tune to the shout. The drowsy man at the wheel and the tired lookout. Others may sing of the wine and the wealth and the mirth. The portly presence of potentates goodly in girth. Mine be the dirt and the dross, the dust and scum of the earth! Theirs be the music, the colour, the glory, the gold. Mine be a handful of ashes, a mouthful of mould. Of the maimed, of the halt and the blind in the rain and the cold... of these shall my songs be fashioned, my tales be told. AMEN. - John Masefield - Consecration. RIP Brother

Edited by dankblazinjedi: 3/22/2015 2:20:02 AMGuardian down. May his light be returned to the traveler. Returned so that it may be forged into another guardian to stand against the darkness. Though the Titans stood alone as the cities one defense at the twilight gap, unfaltering In the face of immeasurable adversity, Saladin, Shaxx and Zavala were not by themselves at all. Hunters, cloaked from the darkness, lurked in the shadows, many giving their final breathe just outside of the impenetrable purple wall emitted by the Titans passion. Warlocks fell in great numbers, their covens divided scurrying for what knowledge they could gather on this new invader, this house of... House of Devils. Our home in ruin, our societies broken, the one thing we failed to realize, we're still here. And we couldn't have done it without each other. We were never alone. And in moments when that seems hard to believe, we all have to remember, the struggle against the darkness is constant, never let your guard down. Keep your light safe guardians.

R.I.P. Soldier. Be gracious to me, O LORD, for I am in distress; my eyes grow weak with sorrow, my soul and my body with grief. My life is consumed by anguish and my years by groaning; my strength fails because of my affliction, and my bones grow weak. . . . But I trust in You, O LORD; I say, “You are my God.” My times are in Your hands; deliver me from my enemies and from those who pursue me. Let Your face shine on Your servant; save me in Your unfailing love. — Psalm 31:9,10,14-16

Edited by Unforgiven: 4/18/2015 9:29:27 AMMy condolences. I hope he fairs better in the next world. A fellow guardian will be missed I am sure.

As a fellow vet who has lost friends to suicide, I'm sorry the loss. There is no telling what was in his mind. I had days myself that if it wasn't from close friends, I wouldn't be here either. God speed.

Edited by streed9951: 4/18/2015 7:55:47 AMGod Bless his soul and may he rest in eternal peace! Thanks to all Armed Service personel, active, retired, and vets. Reality hits harder than any hobbies and video games do, so shame on anyone who leaves a negative response and may God bless you! I didn't know the individual or have never played with them, but these words impacted me enough to offer condolences. God Bless!

Ladies and gentlemen, civilians and soldiers, today is the day we all come to the realization that our Armed Forces are neglected. Sure we say "I Support Our Troops!" But I challenge you to rethink the statement. Once a soldier, always a soldier whether still on active duty or not. When our troops come home, are you there for them? Please watch the video for "Wrong Side of Heaven, Righteous Side of Hell" by Five Finger Death Punch. If you are not into heavy metal, you can mute the music, but it does enhance the message. Support our troops who are home and abroad. Thank you to all the vets out there reading this. I appreciate what you have done for us and our country.
