Basically if there would actually be an area under the tower like you did for the moon, I'd think it would be fun to do this.
First: You go to Tower & Grab A Package from Vanguard Mentor. It Tells you to jump off the tower anywhere you would like in the Tower. (WTF, Did they really tell us to go commit suicide, lol.)
Second: Instead of dying, you keep falling & falling until you see land then either jump/glide/lift last second or die. New Patrol Unlocked, "The Old City".
Third: You Can Continue The Mission or Go to orbit & start the tower or the patrol in orbit. If you start it in orbit, you just go to the ground. If you start the tower, any time after you complete the first mission you can enter the patrol by jumping off. No need to go to orbit again.
The Mission:
Once you are in the "Old City", you are looking for a certain guardian or boss to fight or whatever it may be. Once you finish this mission, you unlock new missions under "The Old City" Area of the earth. This Patrol could be as big as Mars only on earth with new or same but stronger enemies. Patrol with level 20 enemies up to level 32 enemies i;e like the grotto's & etc.
I let it broad for Bungie as chances are they would probably never listen. What do you all think of this idea?
P.S
I always thought it would be funny to see dead bodies dying from the tower while I was on a patrol mission on the earth, thus thinking if this idea. Look Up to see a dead guardian body landing on you & killing you. ;)
