Exotic weapon/gear bounties instead of the gear itself? This way people who earned their coins to buy the weapon would still have to do something level appropriate to get the best class of items in the game. Of course, this would require some harsh modifiers on existing strikes or raids, but I think it would make getting that ice breaker or no land beyond (lol) more satisfying. I'd love to hear people's ideas on bounties or quests specific to the gear. Maybe something like killing the Templar using only sniper rifles or achieving gold in community events five times in 15 minutes or something like that. Something challenging that guarantees your saint-14. Or maybe just coins is enough, I don't really care.
